Some people have said that the Sun is brighter than usual in Japan. Is this true?

Well, I come from NZ which lives under the big hole in the ozone so I thought NZ's sun rays would be stronger, but in Japan I feel that my eyes are really dry and sore and have to use eye drops which I never use in NZ. I wonder why??

Fantastic, I shall add this to my list of strange ideas people have about Japan.
Cool image, can you tell us about it?
Yes, the sun is brighter, but unfortunately the moon is darker so I often walk into phone poles late at night...
Ain't life a *****...!!!
I'm glad you still have room on your list for strange ideas Mandylion. I filled my notebook up!
