I recieved my Bara no Seidou CD+DVD today!!!!! I'm so happy. It is a Limited edition CD+DVD bookset!!!! With a poster......an two extensive booklets of 56 pages in total with a lot of cool pictures:p :p :p :p :p :p :p

The DVD is the Cardinal DVD so Gardenia is on it:p WHHHAAAAAHHH!!! Oke..I'm hyperactive, but I'm just so happy *cuddles CD-box*:blush:

Well.. this is like almoust 10 years before Moi Dix Mois. This is Mana-Sama himself in 1994 in the Tetsu era of Malice Mizer^^ He looks soo cute in those days! Want to make a picture of Tetsu and Gas^^

Oh.. and when it comes to Moi Dix Mois.. Sometimes I actually like Mana Sama more in M10M than in MAlice Mizer.. And sometimes I like Malice Mizer more :P

this is the pic I have seen of Gaz^^ And the picture of them at Scape.sc
I altso go t a cool fact from Queen of Visual that the drummer after Kami was Shue. Some people thought it was the drummer from Lareine, but that was just a rumor. And if it had not been for Kami's death(if Kami leaft the band for other reason), Shue would be an official member.

And yes, Shue was their support drummer after Kami. There aren't any pictures or anything but you can sort of see him in the Shockwave Illusion video where they play Beast of Blood.

Yes Klaha previously was in Pride of Mind. Yu~ki and him were friends so that's how he introduced him to Malice Mizer.

Well.. I think its cool that they wanted Yu-Ki to sing :P I havent heard him though. Probably the same as X-Japan's Yoshiki :P He can do almoust anything besides singing(no offense! I love Yoshiki!)

And the drummer swich was funny! Same as what Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne did! Though Kami was much better at drumms in Malice Mizer than what rob is at playing bass for Metallica! (sorry for the western band comparrisment thingy!)

sorry to interrupt, just wanted to say: you got yet ANOTHER lover of "malice and misery" (ehehe, me likey saying that) here.

I'm a relatively new fan, but after getting my grubby paws on almost every song in their discography (oh Tetsu's Ma Cherie, where are you?!!?!?), reading any translation I can find, and watching pretty much every Youtube clip (the interviews and lives are LOVE)...I feel pretty much caught up ^^

Erm...the first song I heard was Illuminati, loved it instantly...

Kozi's my favorite because of his extreme awesomeness, even though the other members come pretty close.

Also, I don't think I have one favorite "era"...even though I think I listen to Gackt more often - mainly because I like the whole "Dark Prince" thing he had going in in his Malice days, and because he sings in a big chunk of songs. Klaha's opera style isn't far behind...and Tetsu's caught my attention with Speed of Desperate and Seraph...his way of singing is so...well...it's "desperate."

Wow, this was ramble-tastic. So...I'll be going now *sheepish*...I think I'll watch Brise - Live again and giggle at the cuteness >.< (gotta love that Youtube).

Like I said before, I read it on multiple sites. I'm not sure it is true, but nobody knows if even one thing that is on the internet is true...I mean, malice mizer has a lot of things that are secret for the public.. who knows what is true and what isn't. Maybe they made things up and stuff. I think it is a possebility, because Yu-ki does backingvocals with K�zi. I always wondered why they never let one of them sing in the time they didn't had a singer:blush: :p

I just bought lots of new makeup^^ A big big jetblack eyeliner, a eyeliner sharpener, new twizers(or how they are spelled), two coverup-stick thingies and a new powderbox^^ woo! shoud have gotten some eye-shadow aswell, but Ill just get that at H&M in town for cheap :P

You can actually fint suitable elements for Lolita or Aristocrat/bohemian fashion at H&M at some seasons^^ Or there are always the black plain cotton trousers wich works wery well with big frilli shirts:-)

i while back i listened to MDM (mana's band) and the sound is very similair
to the MM style... But since MDM had so many different vocalist...
most of them trying to sound like gackt
i was wondering witch MDM vocalist sounds the most like gackt?
And are you MM (fans?) also listening to MDM?
Are there any other bands besides MDM who sound like MM?

None of the vocalists intentionally tried/try to sound like Gackt. I don't know where you got that assumption.

And to my knowledge there isn't any other band that sounds like Malice Mizer.

I don't think that Moi Dix Mois and Malice Mizer sound a lot like each other. Moi Dix Mois is louder, more Metal-ish. Malice Mizer is actually a quite sft band.....and the singing isn't the same..:p

Why...why does everybody think that Klaha tries to be Gackt. Klaha's voice is much warmer and deeper, it's a opera-coice. Gackt has a pop/rock-ish voice

i just think that mana wanted to create kinda the same sound as gackts voice... Or perhaps its just me.. but i think that all the mdm vocalist
have something gacktish.. if thats coincedence (dont know how to write this)

I like klaha's voice, i really do aspecially in the song MM shiroi...
Gackt indeed has a pop/rock voice but he has a dark and warm as well

Indeed. there is no bands like Malice Mizer^^ Though Malice Mizer can be very heavy at some rare points they can also be very soft^^ Thats what I love soo much about them^^
Well.. the vocalists do have a few simmilarities, though different styles. I think its the music itself that connects it all together and makes the vocals sound a slight bit alike. But offcource Klaha did opera and there is no denying that^^

Yeah I agree there. Although it probably wasn't all to do with Gackt as he, himself, wasn't really famous before Malice Mizer... they helped each other along really.

Gackt era definately my favorite MM era... although I do like Klaha stuff... I find that era leaning more towards Moi dix Mois style.

My Fav is Klaha I guess.. But I don't like to chose.. Every Era has It's own thing that makes it special.
Klaha is like good listening music. Gackt is good sing along :emblaugh: and Tetsu is just tetsu is has something special.. Really up tempo and all
