malice mizer was my first japanese band as well! :cool:

i really like Klaha's voice and actually i think he is my fave mm singer (altho its hard to say :blush: ), but as for the songs... the songs from the Gackt and Tetsu eras i like better than from Klaha era... even tho i luv his voice :mad:
i like the songs of Klaha era too, but best for when i am in a certain mood. :bluush:

i'm learning regret... i started a couple of years ago and had learned 4 out of 6 pages ^^ but then slacking off i lost them :( so now i am starting again to learn it! :p

hmmmyeah the Klaha era is kinda 'darker'... in a way thats what i like about it, and i like the darkness in Klaha's voice... but also the classical influence seems stronger somehow, which makes the music more 'intellectual' XD

But when Gackt left Mana felt more free to present his "gothic vision" so to speak. :p

While I love all their stuff i think i prefer Klaha-era more, because i'm into that sorta stuff.

Bel Air is mostly Mana and Kozi harmonizing. Eege Umi ni Sasagu is nice, the opening part is Kozi playing.

I browsed around youtube not long ago and I fell in love with Malice Mizer everytime i found something from the past^^ Some old clipps of the Tetsu copncerts aswell as some Matenrou and Girl'e videos. When I listen to the old Malice Mizer I feel that this is soo real! I do love the new stuff too dont get me wrong, but It feels more like a complete strict theatrical piece with more sampling than playing instruments(except for Yu~ki and Kami, they did mostly play constantly during live shows :P) Oh! I want a time machine so that I could go way back and see the Tetsu live shows^^

Yeah.. thats correct.. Shue was their session drummer after Kami passed away, though he was never shown or credited. I think there was some talk about making him a real part of t he band, though it never came through because the pains of replacing Kami "Their eternal blood relative". ...or so the rumor goes.. I would like though to find more about Shue himself as a drummer and not just in the content of Malice Mizer.

Well.. yeah.. Shue really was nothing more than a distant shadow in the band.. Almost like " Shadow X" of Moi Dix Mois.. Except for the fact that Shadow X is credited and has become a mythical character of the band.

he has his own band nowadays. i think tetsu era was a bit chaotic rock [and learning how to use make-up], while gackt era was "furansu" and klaha era was "we're angry at you gackt and we will show you that we are more wampire than you"

I don't know where to find Tetsu's last live. Sorry. I'll look later and see if I can't find it. Mana's fanclub is more of a fanclub for Moi dix Mois. You get huge discounts on tickets for lives, a magazine thing that has exclusive interviews and photos and you get access website translations of the magazine and other stuff. You also get to buy cds and live tickets way before they go on sale. It's really cool. But it's also really expensive. I mostly want to join for the magazine. It sounds really cool. It has inside information on the band that only fanclub members get to learn.

Haha, well, my sister's not really into MM all that much - she used to hate them! But I've got her into them a bit more recently (she was always a Gackt solo fan, so I showed her some good Gackt-era stuff and went on from there, lol - seemed to do the trick!) She just knows how much I like them, so said "is there anything I can paint for your birthday?" and I told her the MM threesome would be awesome XD So she's using my books/photos/dvd etc as reference ^.^

My sis does take commissions, but is having a break from them at the moment 'cause of all the college work she has. But if she starts taking on commissions again I'll keep you in mind if you do want that Mana and Kozi painting doing still ^.^

I think Gackt's solo stuff was okay for the first few years after MM, but I've pretty much lost interest now. He will always have been best in MM, and that's how I'll always think of him ^.^ (Gackt Era is my favourite <3)

I always imagined Mana to be quite the opposite behind-the-scenes, I've heard so much about what a dominating personality he has, etc - but I like the part we get to see best (quiet, beautiful, polite Mana XD)

Oh, I *LOVE* the Beast of Blood PV - that's my favourite Klaha Era song, it's just so amazing! It really is one of their best videos too. I got into MALICE MIZER at a young age, My childhood friend (& her family) moved back to Japan and she and I have always ( since 96) kept in touch.. I would send her Backstreet Boys stuff and she sent me tons of Malice Mizer things. [yes, I was a Backstreet Girl:okashii:] Even though I was pretty young, I had an attraction to weird things. and my parents freaked out when the saw the stuff Suzume was sending me LOL. but anyways. I really would like them to come back together and put on shows again., I saw Mana in France, I could tell it was him under the hat and sunglasses. [His face is predictable] but I didnt say anything because It's kind of rude to run up to someone for no reason, If it was in the streets of NY then that would've been a different story. :blush:

I really prefer the KLAHA era. The songs and the Lyrics where much more , Beautiful and touching. Everytime I hear "白い肌に狂う愛と哀しみの輪舞" and "聖なる刻 永遠の祈り" I want to cry because the songs are so sad and the way KLAHA sings ..I in my opinion..His voice is better than Gackt's. I personally don't like Gackt because of his lame excuse of why he didn't attend KAMI'S funeral, I mean like it had to be ビッグニュース (big news) over there at that time....so there was no excuse. anyways. TETSU is love too. I really liked his hair. My favourite members are Yu〜ki and Kozi of course. Yu〜ki was and is brilliant and so is Kozi. A girl on MIXI praised me because In a MALICE MIZER community I said that I loved Yu〜ki.:love::love:

I haven't seen Bara no Konrei yet although I think I MAY have it on my computer somewhere! :shock: Because it is a full movie it takes more time to watch! Maybe I will get the time to watch it soon! I sure want to see it very much.

My favourite MM member is Kozi, because I love his solo stuff so much (though I don't want to post too much on that, because Kozi already has his own thread!). Actually MM is the only band where I have a 'favourite' member! :bluush: But I like all the members equally, I can just say that of their solo work, it's Kozi's that I like best. Also it seems we have kinda similarity in personality, so sometimes I kinda feel like Kozi is like an older brother, y'know? :bluush: :p

Yuki is cool too and I heard from someone else that he is a good actor in the movie. :cool: I do wonder what he is doing now! Such a shame we don't hear his music any more... he wrote Syunikiss, which was the first MM and first J-rock song I ever heard, and turned me on to MM and J-rock music! :blush: :cool: I want to hear more of his stuff! I also like Klaha's voice and his solo stuff... and I wish he would come out of hiding! He ought to start a band again with Yuki and Kozi... but maybe their music would be so different now, that might not work at all!?

I've actually been a MM fan since I was 11, and I'm nearing 14 now. ^__^ But, you'd think Klaha's BOB coat would be easy, no? XD Nope. Abbyshot has it, but it's really expensive. I mean, that's the only reason I'd like to make it, since I'm not rich. And my parents won't blow $600 for a coat that I'll wear like every day and probably worn out and it'll get old before I actually need to wear. XD He does looks smexy, tho... When I first found MM, I thought Klaha was a little odd and he was the only vocalist from MM I knew, but I grew to like him more than Gackt (Maybe I'm just loyal to whomever I find first... XD). And then I learned more, and I could answer quite a few MM trivia (Like Klaha's fav cigarette is Parliament Light :sorry:).

But anyways, if I can't find a pattern to make it soon, I'll just have t save up my Graduation money and my birthday money from BOTH families, and blow it all on some coat that might not even fit me after a few years. XD

um well with diru. they are a good band if you like that kinda music. but the actual lyrics are very deep poetry and kyo writes about things people wouldent talk about. the band dnt care much about money these days they just want people to hear and understand about there meanings. thats y they have changed there style so people listen to there music to get there point across.like they were very vk, then went to kinda rockish punk then to heavy metal. and yeah my fave is shinya he is very hot and still keeps the vk with him. but yeah i think you should look into there music cos it is good. i allso like the gazette they are very cool~ and aoi is hot to the maxxxxx *drools* but yeah.
