Just a notice: the server hosting japanref.com (Topsites Japan etc) has been hacked yesterday. Someone must have gotten root access and installed a script that continually overwrote all index files in folders and subfolders. The techs had to stop Apache and turn off the box itself. For the time being the sites on japanref.com are still down, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Ah, script kiddies...

Not yet, but hopefully soon. Own server = more responsibilities.
I'm thinking of moving to a VPS (virtual private server), something between shared and dedicated hosting.

Everything's back to normal. These hackers have obviously been able to get hold of SSH access data by compromising an account hosted on the server. Once they had shell access, well, it was easy to cause havoc.
