D'Arc~en~Ciel by L'Arc~en~Ciel

Anyone heard of D'Arc~en~Ciel? They are actually L'Arc~en~Ciel but they change their roles in guitar, bass, vocal and drum to perform, what do you think?

A friend of mine gave me a CD a couple of years ago which had some weird old L'arc stuff on it, like the Unfinished Demo and some B-sides now available on that Best of L'arc c/w CD... but she did label three tracks as from D'arc~en~ciel. Pretty raw recordings, so I imagine they must have been doing this pretty early in their career...

It's funny because it's what you might think... it's good but much more basic music than L'arc stuff, probably due to their relative unfamiliarity with the instruments. The tracks were lsited as follows:

Dark Song
Dark in My Life
Insanity

Anyone else hear these tracks at all and can say more?

Sadly there wasn't all that much info about D'arc~en~ciel available out there... it seems like there was one main recording done by the reconfigured L'arc which contained five songs. "Dark Song", though, is apparently just a long song which includes the other four songs together... which explains for me why "Dark Song" and "Dark in My Life" both start the same way.

No one seems to have any information about when this happened, though. Obviously it happened while Sakura was still drummer... and one website actually claims that "Dark in My Life" by D'arc was used as the B-side for the Fourth Avenue Cafe single! However, since that single was pulled from the market due to Sakura's arrest/conviction, that's a tough one to confirm... anyone out there own that single and confirm this?

As for me, I don't have any more info... like I said, I just randomly had a few D'arc tracks on this compilation CD a friend gave me... and I'm not really knowledgeable or interested in the whole file trading game. But I can't be the only one who has access to these songs... the Internet's a big place.
