Fruits Basket manga

Doesn't the Fruits Basket manga continue after the anime ends? If so, do you think they'll make the rest of the manga into anime? (That would be so cool.. :happy: )

Is there a person in the Sohma family that's the sign of the horse?

Hmm,normally for a manga to anime it takes some time,and since i nv seen this anime before,is the show kind of a many part series?

Not that I know of.. I mean, it doesn't have like.. well, a lot of seasons like Sailor Moon does. From what I can remember, there's about 24-26 episodes of the anime, and I'm not sure how many volumes of the manga, though I'm going to guess around 12..

The Fruits Basket manga is on sale 13 volumes now and TV Anime had 26 episodes. The 26 episode of Anime is on the 6 volume of Manga.

Of course the Fruits Basket manga appear serially in a magazine even now. :note:

the anime only consists of volume 1-8
and yes one of the sohma family member is the horse, she is rin or isuzu.

I just watched this anime. It was funny though. Haha....yuki and honda..so cute..anyway, i havent seen any horse inside the anime...hmmmm..

The anime version of Fruits Basket covers the first major arc of the manga with the climax being Tohru discovering Ryo's bestial alter ego but ends after that. There had been rumors of more episodes but the director had said it won't happen. A shame since I enjoyed the series immensely as all the major characters, from the Sohmas to the supporting cast had plenty of substance, even the slightly creepy goth girl in training, Hana-chan. For anyone who hasn't seen Fruits Basket, it's well worth watching.

I'm probably going to cause a bit of an upset here, but I really can't get along with the manga. I find it long and boring. It takes too long to get to the point and I can't feel anything for any of the characters. I've got up to Vol.7 and just feel as if it drags. Needless to say I don't think I will buy the anime.

i haven't read the manga but from what i've picked up the horse is called rin i think, and she is about haru's age i think, haha. don't take what i say to heart cos im so not sure but thats what i've got so far i really need to read it :p

but yeah she doesn't appear in the anime at all, not even a mention of her.
it would be awesome if they made more fruits anime though =]

Oh my gosh! I love this anime so much. By the way the manga scan is not online.I cant wait for the succeeding episodes as anime.Yuki is so cute!

yes, the anime series only goes 26 eps long,
but there are 23 books altogether.

I LOVE THE LAST BOOK!!!
