One of my favorite anime which may fit your style is Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (Mahou Shoutengai Abenobashi). It's about these two kids from Osaka, who end up in some very interesting scenarios. It's crazy, it's fun, and it's from the same guys that brought you FLCL.
