Hi, I was woundering what age you have to be to be to stay in a hotel in Japan? I know you have to be at least 18 years old in the U.S.A. Well I wa just currious because I am trying to save up to go to Japan but I am only 17 years old. Any information would be helpfull.

Are you talking about love hotels or just any hotels ? I've never heard of age restriction in Japan or anywhere else. Even for love hotels, there mustn't be any regulation, since there are plenty of "enjo kosai" (teenage prostitution) stories of girl scarely 12 years old going to love hotels with grown-ups. Japan is a very permissive country regarding sex, just the opposite of the Judeo-Christian US.

Yes, hence the manga's being censored so much to come to the U.S. and the hentai readily available in Japan as well. Japan has good times to come for me  LOL Joking by the way.
