View Full Version : Glow In The Dark Ocean Waves !!

In Fukuoka, at a certain time in the summer, the ocean
was filled with plankton that glowed blue. At night when the waves broke on shore, they seemed to glow bright white. The fish that ate enough of the plankton glowed bright enough to be seen a few feet below the surface all lit up.
Has anyone else seen this happen, or was I just near a Radioactive dump site??

probably varies year to year and may not happen every year. I heard it only takes place in the South Pacific, but
not sure about that?
