Sweet, the only time ive been a passenger whilst drifting is with my dad, and a drift instructor at Silverstone race track.
Im coming To Kichijoji in October if anyone wants to take a mad Englash lad drifting, its 13km from Tokyo.

Whats drifting?/
making the rear end slide out
there are other definitions (but i like this one)
Keeping the car in a controlled sideways slide for as long as possible.
I'm passively into drifting. I have a few Best Motoring videos and read into the 240SX but alas, I realized it would be impractical for me to get a car untill out of college. Then I can get the drift monster Toyota Prius!!! /sarcasm
Ha. Its not a big sport over here in the UK. This country is too traditional too understand it. Most people still think that grip is good, sliding is bad, the only way to get round a corner is fast. Drifting is seen as slow.
I can see that, but drifting is an extremily skillfull sport and it takes dedication.
Only recently has there been official drifitng competitions. This was mainly dominated by the Nissan SX owners club though.
It can be found on the roads in certain areas, but the police are too lazy to be solving real crime and see this kind of activity as easy arrests..
i bought drift bible (best motoring) from best buy -- what a ripoff
no japanese only track (dub on BOTH tracks), plus no subtitles
between all of the technical terms and my little previous knowledge, i guess it was passable -- couldn't watch it all, got too mad
i am not a happy camper :|
Im sure ive seen the drift bible with subtitles.
You cant really teach drifting though, everyone has different styles. Interesting viewing anyway
