A 15G iPod is 33,000Y at my local electronics store. The iPod doesn't seem to be doing any better than the other Mp3 players, which is to say nowhere near as well as in the US or Europe. People are still used to the MD (easier to use, and they've had the format for years) rather than MP3... I also think the lack of a color screen is not good for the Japanese market. then again it's just my impression.

I've got the 2nd gen thin iPod. You can't replace the batteries, they're internal. You can only recharge them through your computer's firewire or an AC adapter.
