My fav is shiba-zuke. Tsukemono in the US tends to have way too much sugar and MSG, which is the case in ones sold in authentic Japanese groceries too.

Funny you ask this, because I really ate alot of most of this when I was in Japan, I had some Cabbage Ramen at the Onsen in Odaiba, it was DELICIOUS!

I like yellow radish, cucumber and eggplant. I also eat a lot of other preserved bamboos, cabbages, crabs and clams from Korea and Shanghai. And my friends keep telling me that one day I will have stomach cancer :mad:.

same here...frens keep telling me each time i eat those stuffs....
