I will be travelling to Japan through a labo/4-h partnership. I'm doing a homestay with a host family. Anyhoo, I will be staying in Uchinada village in Ishikawa prefecture. I am looking for a map in English of Ishikawa prefecture. I'd like to see where Uchinada is in relationship to Kanazawa and the other suburbs. Thanks!

Try this site. http://www.jnto.go.jp/mapindex/E/Ishikawa.html When you get the map (and it may take a while to load, you can adjust the scale and center. I think it will give you what you want. Have a good time.

post about anything & everything! Totally mindless posts like many of mine are , are very common! If you see a cloud in the sky that looks somewhat like Japan, start a thread about it! This is a slow time of the year for posts, we need all we can get!! Please take a lot of pictures when you go to Japan, we never have enough good pics!!
You will have a great time there and make a million friends and have some great lifetime memories!!

More importantly, were the sites what you needed? If not, I'll search some more.
