Any good cookbook recommendations? I love Tokiko Suzuki "Japanese homestyle cooking" - It has great everyday recipes.

That is my favorite Japanese cookbook, Daniel. It's a really good intermediate level cookbook, I think.
I think the Quick & Easy series is good to have around. Titles like Quick and Easy Japanese Cuisine for Everyone (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/4889960937/qid=1086957737/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-2545074-1071026?v=glance&s=books), Favorite Japanese Dishes (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/4915249379/qid=1086957889/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-2545074-1071026?v=glance&s=books), and Quick & Easy Sushi Cook Book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/4915249042/qid=1086957941/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-2545074-1071026?v=glance&s=books) contain a lot of simple recipes and basic information. I consider them elementary level, but I think they are staples.
