Think of
-temo
-kutemo
-demo
as "even if" or thereabouts.
Ame ga furu (to rain)
Hashiri ni iku (to go running)
Ame ga fut[temo] hashiri ni iku. (go running even if it rains)
Samui (to feel cold)
Soto ni deru (to go outside)
samu[kutemo] soto ni deteikou (let's go outside even if it's cold)
"demo" is not really a suffix. Think of it as "but".
"ame ga futtekita yo, demo ikoune" (it's beginning to rain, but let's go)
Hope that helps.
I'll cover
-eba
-reba
-nara
another time. Or someone else can handle that. It's Friday night before July 4th weekend and I'm still in the office. I'm gonna leave soon. :cool:
Konnichiwa Kenkaku musei-san!
-eba
-reba
-nara
All of them are inflection of verbs and means "if".
The verb that has two characters and "-eba".
言う(i u) ---> 言えば(i-eba)
say ---> if you say
買う(ka u) ---> 買えば(ka-eba)
buy ---> if you buy
死ぬ(shi nu) --->死ねば(shi-neba)
die ---> if you die
The verb that has three or more characters, and "-reba".
走る(ha shi ru) ---> 走れば(ha shi reba)
run ---> if you run
食べる(ta be ru) ---> 食べれば(ta be reba)
eat ---> if you eat
眠る(ne mu ru) ---> 眠れば(ne mu reba)
sleep ---> if you sleep
The verb and "-nara".(this verb don't change in the end of word)
言う(i u) ---> 言うなら(iu-nara)
買う(ka u) ---> 買うなら(kau-nara)
食べる(ta be ru) ---> 食べるなら(ta be ru nara)

it's cold : samu-i
even if it's cold : samu-kutemo
it's not cold : samukuna-i
even if it's not cold : samukuna-kutemo
Can't you see the romaji that Nangi put in brackets?

Yes, Guldo-san already said, it is "-nakutemo" that means "even if it isn't" exactly.
言う(i u) ---> 言わなくても(i wa nakutemo)
say ---> even if i don't say
買う(ka u) ---> 買わなくても(ka wa nakutemo)
buy ---> even if I don't buy
死ぬ(shi nu) --->死ななくても(sh na nakutemo)
die ---> even if I don't die
食べる(ta be ru) ---> 食べなくても(ta be nakutemo)
eat ---> even if I don't eat
