In a country with few real careers for women, a job in an energetic internationally-oriented service industry would surely be a dream come true for many.
Unfortunately, when that industry is Japan's language-learning industry, many school managers soon find that their dream job isn't quite what they imagined.

Hey, I'm in that article! Tony McNicol interviewed me for it and the "Sean" quoted at the beginning is me!

Working as a manager at GEOS is a dead end job. Most of them quit after 6 months or so because of all the stress. Its not uncommon for them to have to work 14 or 15 hours a day, and they get paid very little for it.
