  1. I hope I did right.

    Today I feel sad.

When I think about it, I have not yet even come close to recovering from leaving Japan. I had friends there, a job, etc. I was happy, and other than my then-recent divorce, I was rather content.

Here is a different story, however. I just hope that when school starts in a month, I can find my niche.

  2. Young Me vs. Not-So-Young Me on University

Recently I had the thought that the way I'm approaching post-secondary education is vastly different than I did the first time around. When I think about it, if I had approached school then as I am now, I may never have been introduced to Japan and the larger world outside of the U.S. For that reason, I do not regret my past. However, I think a mixture of the two approaches would have been nice.

  4. The revelations of the self

    by , Jun 15, 2011 at 00:01
Been a long while since I last posted on my blog, so I thought I would share some things on my mind.

Within the last 6 months I've been through many changes as a person. I've come to sort of learn about myself abit more through the various decisions I've made and the few I have to make pretty soon. I've always been an anxious person, probably due to my mum's own anxieties, so making big decisions and relying on my own instinct is quite difficult for me, however due to Uni ending it ...

  5. Tetanus and School and Business

by , Jun 6, 2011 at 08:35 (Mediocre Musings from Mikawa)
This fall I am going to start work on my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Up to this point I have been earning several associates degrees, but the real challenge starts this fall.
So I've been busy getting ready for school: sending transcripts, filling out paper work, and today getting my tetanus booster shot.
They say you're supposed to get a booster shot for tetanus every ten years, but I couldn't remember for the life of me when I had gotten my last booster. This ...
