ANYWAY!
Pocky, i have to say, is my favest far east asian snack...
i LOVE Yan Yans, and Koalas and err... thos other things i've forgotten the name of
BUT! Pocky is my most favorit...
i've had Korean, Thi and Japanese Pocky (omigod, the Japanese one was so elabrate! )
buuuut... i've been told... that Pocky originated in korea.... and the it's so called 'Pocky' becaus that's ment to be the sound it makes when you break it...'po-ki'
i've no idea if this is true, but it's a cute story
lol, i remeber stuffing some when i was comeing out of choir practice and Yoshimi-san saw me...
i was like... heh, yeah, excuse me, i have a Pocky addiction
and she was like, i don;t blame you
yeah, anyways, why am i boostin this thread?
well... i found it terribly amusing to find (in the Japan Center in Piccadilly, London) this.... really.... 'rich' type of Pocky...
it was like... gormet Pocky
(but DAMN was it good)
i was just wondering.... is Pocky seen as anything other than just a general kids snack?
cos... if it isn't, these these guys who;ve made the fuss of coming up with this -
(btw, it was GORGEOUS )
