    Student Visa For 6 Months?

    国際交流パーティー - Tokyo International Party

    Greetings,

Is it possible to have a Student Visa for Japan for 6 months, or at least with a 6 months bank statement that contains minimum money to last for 6 months there (around 1 million yen?)?

is the bank statement a requirement for the visa itself, or for the school willing to sponsor that visa?

I have sent to application and other related papers to the school I am planning to study at (which is Yoshida Institute) and they told me to wait till feb 2011 for the arrival of Certificate of Eligiblety which is needed for me to apply for the Student Visa at the Japanese Embassy down here in Saudi Arabia.
