Question Help me understand this sentence...? ><

    国際交流パーティー - Tokyo International Party

The sentence is: Ninja no nin wa nintai no nin nari.
The translation is: The 'nin' of nin-ja means "ENDURANCE," as in 'nin-tai.'
I understand that 'Ninja no nin' means 'nin of Ninja,' and that the 'wa' is a topic particle, meaning the speaker and the listener both have been introduced to this subject...
But how does 'nintai no nin nari' translate into the last part of the sentence: 'means "ENDURANCE," as in 'nin-tai.'?
I just don't get it. I'm trying to understand how they put that together so it makes sense... But it's confusing for me and frustrating.
Can anyone enlighten me and explain this? Thank you in advance! All help is appreciated!

Nari is an old-style copula that's the same as modern-day desu or da. It came from ni ari, I believe. I assume you understand the nintai no nin part, since it's the same structure as ninja no nin.

Ohh, I see... But where did they grab 'endurance' from the original Japanese sentence?

Nintai, although I think "perseverance" would be a better choice.
