    Question Methods For Vocabulary Building?

    国際交流パーティー - Tokyo International Party

I'm having no problems with my kanji or grammar studies, but I'm not sure how I should go about vocabulary building. What are some resources and methods that I can use to build vocabulary in a systematic and efficient manner?

Lots of reading and an SRS like Anki are probably what most people would recommend. Lots of listening won't hurt either. I once watched a video of a guy talking about extensive reading as the best way to build vocabulary, but you have to be at a certain level for that. He defined it as reading materials where you understand 95+ percent of what you're reading. Knowing your level, your strong areas, and the appropriate material to pick is a bit tricky if you're not too advanced yet, though.

    Here's the video I mentioned:

    Avoid Mojibake! -- 文字化けを避ける!
Jim Breen's online dictionary and kanji lookup
Dictionary at Goo -- English-Japanese, Japanese-English, Japanese Language
Weblio -- Multiple Japanese dictionary and encyclopedia simultaneous lookup
Lang-8 -- Have native speakers correct your writing!

Don't worry about that too much its not that serious,
building vocabulary comes with time but i would suggest you to look japanese tv online, drama and funny tv shows as much as you can, starting by concentrating hundred percent on what they are saying and understand by looking at the context.
Soon you will find yourself hearing the same words in different type of material and the new words will come and stay naturally in your brain because you hear them again and again.
