    Heart Nisongo

    国際交流パーティー - Tokyo International Party

    Hello everyone,
This is my first post. I hope to be around here a lot more. I've been learning japanese on and off (mostly self-taught) for 3 and a bit years. I'm hoping to take JLPT 4 test at the end of this year. I'm also a composer by trade and i'm into lots of J-music & anime/game music.
Which brings me to the NISONGO - this is a project I started to help teach my friend in Japan basic Japanese through song. They're a little less tame than most other educational songs.

    DAYS OF THE WEEK
    HIRAGANA SONG

DISCLAIMER: I am way aware that the delivery and general nature of these songs often obscures the clarity and diction needed for educational purposes - they were really intended for fun and something to entertain my friend. They are accompanied by long posts about how to "properly" learn these things, often with links to better materials. So while I'm interested in feedback... i urge people to go easy on me and bare in mind that it may be more fun than accurate.

Anyway, I hope to stick around here more and learn much more! I hope people are interested in these songs and that we can all have a great learning time together

You do not like ambient techno ... that is music from 20th century, and ... I'd say it is already antique.
aphex twin, for example: aphex twin - come to daddy - YouTube

ewww ... did You hear about cornelius? fantastic plastic machine? takako minekawa? those are techno, ambient and they are from Japan.

I am so sorry if my musical preferences does not fit into Your model of 47 yo man.

BTW, I visited Calum's music page and he is awesome ... may be little old-fashioned, but very talented.

Yes, fantastic plastic machine and cornelius are big influences for me.

I'm not sure how this conversation got started. I believe financialwar was asking how old the friend I was making this video for was.

But anyhow, I will take the compliments as they come : )
