    Hi
i just read this article or 'research' and i was shocked oO

The Arabian Cradle: Mitochondrial Relicts of the First Steps along the Southern Route out of Africa

A major unanswered question regarding the dispersal of modern humans around the world concerns the geographical site of the first human steps outside of Africa. The “southern coastal route” model predicts that the early stages of the dispersal took place when people crossed the Red Sea to southern Arabia, but genetic evidence has hitherto been tenuous. We have addressed this question by analyzing the three minor west-Eurasian haplogroups, N1, N2, and X. These lineages branch directly from the first non-African founder node, the root of haplogroup N, and coalesce to the time of the first successful movement of modern humans out of Africa, ∼60 thousand years (ka) ago. We sequenced complete mtDNA genomes from 85 Southwest Asian samples carrying these haplogroups and compared them with a database of 300 European examples. The results show that these minor haplogroups have a relict distribution that suggests an ancient ancestry within the Arabian Peninsula, and they most likely spread from the Gulf Oasis region toward the Near East and Europe during the pluvial period 55–24 ka ago. This pattern suggests that Arabia was indeed the first staging post in the spread of modern humans around the world.

Why are you trying to troll? Even if humanity started in Africa, we're still not africans, and even if humanity moved over Arab Peninsula, we're still not arabs. If I drive to France from Germany over Belgium - I won't be a belgic!
If you can't be an example, be a warning.

Well, it's widely accepted these days that modern humans originated in Africa and at first were restricted to that continent. Human groups that live by hunting and gathering need large territories to hunt in, and over time, as these groups have children and increase in numbers, they will occupy all the available land. Once that land fills up, people are going to try to leave, if they can, to reach richer pickings elsewhere. But our ancestors could not cross wide stretches of water; although they must have developed some sort of rafts to reach some of the places they did, truly seaworthy boats were still far in the future. So there were only three likely routes by which they could leave Africa: across the Straits of Gibraltar, across the Sinai, or across the Bab-el-Mandeb strait at the southern end of the Red Sea. The paper you quoted suggests that humans living in east Africa emigrated over that last route, based on genetic evidence.

That paper claims this would have happened around 60,000 years ago. Since this was during the last ice age, when lots of water was locked up in massive ice sheets covering the northern parts of both North America and Europe, the sea level was tens of meters lower than it is today. That would have made the strait narrower and the crossing easier. It would also have exposed large areas of land around the Arabian Peninsula which are now underwater, including the entire Persian Gulf. Furthermore, the climate was very different at that time. In particular, the paper mentions "the pluvial period 55-24 ka ago"; that's geologists' jargon for a period of a heavily rainy global climate ("pluvial" means "rainy") from 55,000 to 24,000 years ago. ("ka" is short for "kiloannum", meaning a thousand years.) So parts of the Arabian Peninsula would have been wetter and more hospitable than today. These would have made good territories for human hunter-gatherers, allowing them to occupy the region and spread further abroad.

By the way, how did you come across this paper? I'm just curious.

Dude. I've known this about 5 years ago. I discuss it with many students and they feel that being from Africa means being black! We all originate from Africa and we all are from there! From many sources that is where life as humans began! ALSO ALL religions are derived from Egyptian religion. (Which was basically spirituality!) And Christianity characters From the bible such as Jesus and Mary are basically copied from Egyptian mythology. Nowadays, people think logos like the swastika are from whites and mean what they call it. But are ignorant of its past references
Nice discussion, I should make an Egyptian themed topic..
Kid, you got no idea how a lot of stuff is from Africa. Mainstream media won't tell you this. You have to read lot of books and look on youtube.
    Nice research.

Aren't we suppose to be from Africa. Anyway, We are all very different. I mean, so what if we originated from Arabs. Eventually we changed and became our own. Which also brings me to, HOW did we become our own? The Africans are different from the Arabs. What about the Chinese and Japanese, Mongolians, Cambodians and the many others? They don't look like Arabs. (Not getting up you Hezam). What about the Mayans and Inca's? As I have heard, they didn't derive from the the Chinese like the Native Americans are suppose to of. They are completely their own... So how on earth did they end up in South America!?!?!
I would love to make friends with someone in Japan. Someone who could teach me Japanese or like Japanese culture and history or Anime/Manga or Japanese music! Just private message me and tell me which ones you like ^-^
