If I were you, I would write:

or

But I'm not female and poor at English.
So, I dont know whether these transrations reflect your passion correctly.

The last word "yabame" is hard to translate. It literally is "has a tendency to be something that would get you into trouble", I think, so it means "racy", "risque", "dodgy" and words like that. Maybe referring to obscene lyrics.

Are you certain that "yabame" would have this kind of implications in this context? I think that might be a bit of an overly literal interpretation here. My first inclination was that this might actually be "yabai" used in a positive sense, like for example (the following all pulled randomly from sites found with Google):

I'm not sure how to best render this sense of "yabai" in English, but I guess it could be close to something like "(This song/these lyrics) (is/are) just too much!", which could have either a positive or negative meaning depending on the context. In this context, the rest of the review (albeit a short one) is overwhelmingly positive (and also the fact that he laments the lyrics not being included, which makes me wonder if he could understand the lyrics to the point of being able to comment on their obscenity or lack thereof) which makes me suspect it's closer to the above examples.

Sure -- if you think it would be helpful, feel free to do so. I'm not completely confident that my interpretation is correct, but either way I imagine that one or more of the experienced members (or native speakers) of SLJ might be able to offer refinements/corrections where necessary.

Well you could well be right. I have to admit I don't think I've come across it before.

I mean it must be "yabai" + "me" meaning "pretty yabai" like "hayame" means "on the early side".

Here is an example:
6時前、池袋北口の風俗街の近くにあるライブハウスに先輩のバンドを見に行く。かなりやばめ
There it just seems to mean "pretty cool".

However I can also find the literal meaning:
こいつは、やばめ。みないでね！！顔が・・・。
This is from a collection of links to grotesque photos, and it's being used to mean "yabai" in the usual sense. Or: かなりな金欠・・ ヤバメ・・ Or: 裏はかなりやばめの18禁気味です

I would have to hear the song before making a final decision. Since it is a hardcore punk band after all.

Probably you can only use it to mean "cool" when talking about things that are slightly "yabai" - you couldn't use it to talk about a cool Hello Kitty toy or something (if you thought such things are cool - some do - I have a Hello Kitty omamori from a shrine in Ueno park...)

So maybe some similar word like "outrageous" would do (I know I need better slang)

Yeah, actually, that was one of thing that gave me doubt about my interpretation -- I wasn't sure if when "qualifying" yabai as "yabame" (or "a bit on the 'yabai' side"), it might lean towards the more literal meaning of the word that you suggested.

On the other hand, from the examples I've seen (included those I posted above) I don't see any reason to think that it has to be "cool" in a risky/dangerous/outrageous kind of way. One of the examples was describing a song by Utada Hikaru, whose music I would consider pretty tame for the most part, while "Stray Cats Strut" (I believe) is a jazz piece. I mean, in all of those examples it seems like you could pretty much substitute "kakkoii" or the like without changing the nuance much, and "kakkoii" doesn't need to have those sort of connotations.

As far as the Hello Kitty example, I agree with what you're saying, but I think that Kitty-chan is too close to the "kawaii" end of the spectrum to really serve as a good base for comparison -- that is, just because you probably wouldn't refer to Kitty-chan as "yabai" in this sense, it doesn't mean that you couldn't refer to a 'cool' or 'infectious' (yet not necessarily borderline-obscene) piece of music this way.

But as you say, it is a hardcore punk band, so who knows? I'd be interested in hearing some feedback from a native speaker on this.

EDIT: "Wicked" and "sick" both sound like they would work pretty well in this case, assuming that it does have those connotations (which it certainly might, given the type of band) -- though I'm still not convinced that this use of yabai always needs to contain that nuance.

That occurred to me too. The overwhelming majority of Google entries just are the literal meaning. Maybe "the sixth song is pretty sick" - then it sounds like "The sick sixth Sheik's sixth sheep's sick".
