Ashiro - Does this name mean anything?
I'm from the UK and I'm not Japanese but my father gave me a Japanese middle name as he is obsessively fanatical about Japanese culture. He gave me the name "Ashiro".
I was wondering if anyone knew what the name came from? He said it was an historical figure but I haven't been able to find anything about it. Doesn't seem like a comon name either. Could anyone help tell me what it means or where its from? |

I don't think it means anything really, it's just a name. From what I can find, there's three ways to write it. Just click "kanji info" on all three to see what each different Kanji means. I hope this helps. |

The closest thing I can come to that is 'Aishiteru', and that literally means 'I love you.' Sorry if I haven't been any help.
