I would translate that as follow (but not sure it's perfect though) :

everyone says my dad's funny. (I guess you don't mean "strange" ?)

みんなはお父さんがおもしろいという。

my dad thinks alcoa is dangerous (what's alcoa ?)

父はアルコーアが危険と思う。

because (?? why do you start a sentence with "because" ?) my eldest brother hates getting up early

兄さんは早い起きることが嫌い (から?)。

while (same here, what's the rest of the sentence ?) at home together we do think watch television, talk and tell jokes

みんな家に一緒にいるとき、テレビを見たり、しゃべっ たり、冗談をしたりことが好き。

ok Alcoa is the companymy works for. Also i started the sentence with "because" because the sentence before that i said he hates working. becuase he hates waking up early. The last sentcence it was ment to be while at home we do things like watch television, talk and tell jokes. think was a typo.

So are these still correct ??

That still works the way I put it (just add the "kara" in brackets at the end).

I am affraid I made a little mistake in this sentence :

みんな家に一緒にいるとき、テレビを見たり、しゃべっ
たり、冗談をしたりことが好き。

> just change the したい into 言ったり, as the correct expression is "joudan wo iu", not "suru". Sorry about that.

Hi, Hajimemasite (^^)/
Excuse my sudden participating.
I'm passing Japanese girl lives in Tokyo.

Maciamo's one is not bad. many Japanese can understand the meaning, perhaps. but it still sounds strange a little.
I think it will become better if you made as following.
冗談を言ったりすることが好きです。

上の兄は朝に起きることがきらいからです
Also this one must be better if you changed as following.
兄は朝早く起きることがきらいだからです。

oops! the last reply of thread here has been done one month or more back! lol
I might not need to reply...I'm like a dorky..lol
