21st Century Book with Language Drills a la Jorden?
Ok... I understand now that Jorden's "Beginning Japanese" is really out of date. So, please say get the new ones - "Japanese, The Spoken Language". Trouble is, those are pretty old too. It's difficult to find the audio files in a post-1985 format - all I see are cassettes (ewwwww... analog).
So, is there a really good book along the same lines as JSL which has come out in the last few years which concentrates on drills for learning the spoken language. I think Pimsleur is helping me some with this, but Pimsleur is really light on actual drills. Any help?
