Arrow Japan Reference Travel Guide

For all of you travelling to and around Japan, do not forget that JREF has its own Japan Sightseeing and Cultural Guide, covering all Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa.

At the time of writing 45 cities have already been completed, and about 50 areas of Tokyo as well as some in depth guide to some of Kyoto's attractions.

If you haven't been to Japan or don't plan to, you can still see the pictures on almost every pages or read about the culture and history of the various places.

Let me know if there are any way I can improve this JREF Travel Guide. I have done my best to give as many details and enough background information to enjoy the places. If you have pictures of Japan you would like us to use in the Travel Guide, feel free to post them in the Japan Gallery or send them to me directly by email.

NB : Even if you have seen the guide before, check again as there has been a lot of chances up to the last few days !

Wow I see you added a section on Hokkaido. Nice. Am I hallucinating, or was that not there about a month ago?

You are right, one month is such a long period of time (about 2,592,000 seconds ) that plenty has been added since then. Recent addition include pages for each region of Japan with map, prefectural map, various cities in Hokkaido, Tohoku and Chubu regions, and pictures for almost all cities.

I have the pleasure to announce the launch of JREF's Interactive Map of Japan and Tokyo Click on the city or area of your choice, and you'll be instantly teletransported to the guide's detailed page.

Maybe if you could give a guide to people on how to get out of an airport.

I also don't understand how we can improve a website with not enough pictures... -sentence structure is wrong-

I think that all Japanese airports have shuttle buses or a train station, so that is not usually a problem as long as you know how to step on a bus or a train.

Changed it to "more" instead of "not enough".
