They might be the same place. I found the two words linked in several places, and one site that mentioned a Tattori University in Tottori City. I'm sure someone else will know more.
Here is the website for Tottori City http://www.city.tottori.tottori.jp/top/e_index.htm |

Tattori isn't a good sounding native Japanese word. I'm almost positive these online references are a mispelling of "Tottori."

Tottori is the name of a prefecture located on the Japan Sea side of Japan, as well as the name of the capital city of that prefecture. (If you don't know what a prefecture is, you can just think of it like one of the states of the United States... it's not exactly the same, but close enough.)
You probably don't hear much about it because it is the single least populous prefecture in Japan. I can't tell you much about it since I've never been there, but I imagine there are some nice nature sights to see there, as you can see here: http://www.pref.tottori.jp/kanko/ It seems to be the home of the largest sand dune in Japan: http://www.sight-seeing-japan.com/area/atottori.html ...as well as a large flower park: http://www.tottorihanakairou.or.jp/ Just out of curiosity, why have you decided to go there? Tokyo and Tottori seems like a strange combination. You do realize that Tottori is quite far away from Tokyo, don't you?
