Yahoo.com's Japan Chat- American Server

Alright, so I use to think the Japanese Chatrooms in Yahoo "suck."

Well I've changed my mind to just.. "are ok."

I recently visited the chat in the regional section..

*kinda looks like this in there*

Hajimimashite! Visit http://docs.yahoo.com/docs/info/bridge.html

Anyways... I get in there at 3 A.M. Central time..
(which is about 6:30 p.m. in Japan or so..)

It's a pretty good time to ask people and speak to them about Nihongo(Japanese language),

Of course you will find at many times someone in there speaking Japanese; Which is beginning to happen more and more.

I currently went in there and began talking away and asking questions on phrases I wasn't so good at, and all of a sudden it became like an Online College. Although I've never had an online college course, if I had one, I would want it to be like this. People were speaking in Japanese to each other and then this chatroom became a valuable asset to me once again. It was becoming like a free classroom course.

If you know a little bit of Japanese, you may want to come in here when you can, to practice your skills.

Endnotes:

I would like to suggest however to block all instant messages if you go in there before 2 A.M. Central time, or block them all after 11:00 A.M. Central time.

Also.. if you think about timezones...
When it's about 8:00 A.M. Central time, most Nihonjin are getting ready to sleep.
