Cool Recreation in Japan

Hey I was wondering, I paintball down here in Phoenix out in the desert, and I was wondering does anybody paintball in Japan or anywhere else for that matter. I think its fun, but that my opinion. If they dont, what do they usually do for fun over there.

I think it's a blast, but I think you might be in a tough spot finding a place to paintball in Japan. I lived in Tokyo so of course nothing like that exists (that I know of). For the most part, hobbies are the same there, but they generally take more concentration. IE -- depending on where you live, a trip to the park might take an entire day.

What, How could a trip to the park take an entire day. Since I have your ear, I was wondering, when You liveed in Japan, did you ever see any custom built motorcycles, ie West Coast, Orange County, or Choppers Inc. type bikes. I was curious, because I now there a big hit here especially in Phoenix, since its only a couple of hours drive to California.

I wouldnt say that go is incredibly popular, its played mainly by old people and those with an interest in it (like chess).

People play sports like tennis, golf or badminton or might go and hit some baseballs. Ten Pin Bowling is also very popular.
If your still in school you might play soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball or practice a martial art like Kendo, Aikido, Judo, Shorinji Kempo, Sumo, Kyudo. Theres also other activities like cheerleading, aerobics, music, gymnastics, athletics.

I never saw any custom built motorcycles in Japan... esp the types you mentioned. Fully faired sports bikes seem more popular than the naked cruisers or streetfighters

There are karaoke spots around.
Also this weird game played by WEIRD kids where they get fully decked out inregional military garb and shoot each other with high powered BB guns.

What types of paintball guns do they sell over there. I use a Spyder Xtra, with a 21inch custom barrel. I have a 9oz tank, but I want to get a 20oz. I have wanted t oget a Tippman 98 custom, and use the sniper kit on it.

@Budd I know that two of the ranges shown on that site are on US military bases. You may not be able to access them!

@Ewok,: I didnt know that, I mean, with popularity of Motorcycle Makers i.e. Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, e.t.c, I would ahve thought that there would be a small group interested in creating their own bikes. Oh well, I have learned a good thing in your post. Thanks for the Info.

I have heard of this "Airsport" but it doesnt seem to have a foothold here in the US where I live. Though I was told that its popular in Europe.
