Wow, Lucky Guy !!

The city has some beautiful churches. The history of the city and how foreigners lived there is facinating. The atom bomb museum and things around it are real interesting. The weather is great. I think you really lucked out! I haven't been there since 1971, so hopefully others will give you more recent info. You're the type of guy who would make the best of anywhere they send you, I'm sure you'll love it.

Frank

This is a very nice Nagasaki site. "Stroll in Nagasaki" page has a lot of beautiful pics.

Because I lived in Fukuoka, I went to Nagasaki sometimes.
Because Nagasaki is a place with many slopes, you must strengthen legs.
Summer of "Kyushu" is humid very hotly
You have to be careful about a meal.
Please try a hot spring by all means.
Because there are many active volcanoes in Kyushu, I suggest that I watch Unzen, Aso, Sakurajima.
