does anybody know this guy...

he made the soundtracks of :

Brother (2000)
Kikujiro (2000)
Porco Rosso (1992)
Princess Mononoke (1999)
Princess Mononoke (Symphonic Suite) (1999)
Spirited Away (2002)

my favourite song is the song from kikujiro , Summer!!!

what do you guys think of him????

Summer, from "ENCORE", Composed by Joe Hisaishi, Performed by ChenHaou

it makes me CRY.... and at the same time smile... not a lot of songs can do that to me...

and one of the songs from Spirited away

so what ya guys think?

he also did Howls moving castle and Laputa in terms of Studio Ghibli. He has composed alot of films in corporation with Japanese actor and presenter Takeshi 'Beat' Kitano. He's one of the best composers I have ever listened to, well his music..lol.

I love that song. A friend of mine was playing it today and that was the first time I'd heard it in maybe a year. Have you seen Kikujiro, Dutch Baka? That's one of my favorite movies.
