I don't know what my tattoo means

Please guys, HELP!
I tattooed two japanese hieroglyphs, which I saw from an engraving by Kitagava Utamaro, but I can't find anywhere what they mean.
I would be very very thankful if anyone would like to translate them to me.
This is my e-mail: no_resolution@mail.bg
If anyone wants to help I'll send him/her pictures.
Thank you
Poli, Bulgaria

You got a tatoo without knowing what it meant? It might say "stupid gaijin" for all you know. So much for getting meaningful tatoos.

I do so hope that it doesn't say "...I'm anybody's for twenty bucks ..." !

More than likely - it says "...visit Harry's Tattoo Parlor ..." - or something like it !

Regards - and Welcome Aboard ! !

Stupid gaijin from an engravement by a famous artist ?? That would be highly unprobable as Kitagawa Utamaro lived from 1753 to 1806

I agree. I would never get something tattooed on me that I didn't know what it meant. I'd be scared it said something really bad...

Haha, I hope it's something funny.

It would be a big let down if it was something mundane, like "Purple Flower Love."

Who ever sees the kanji make sure to tell him it is something horrible at first if it is something normal, then wait a bit to let it set in and tell him the real meaning

I heard of a guy getting a tatoo in Chinese and he screwed up the translation and it said something like, "In the morning, he's still ugly". Don't know what he was trying to make it say.

I saw someone with the Kanji for 'lengthy' on the back of his vest once. Next time I see him I think I'll tell him that it means 'bed wetter' or something. Make him think before he puts it on his skin.
I think the lesson here is 'Check before, not after permanently marking yourself'

Well, first off... are you nuts! For all you know your tattoo could be something gang related or something like the kanji for kitchen or something cheesy like that.

Secondly, tattoos aren't the greatest thing in the world to do to yourself. You know most places don't sterilize their equipment according to "health codes". A friend of mine got HIV from a getting tattoo with an unsteterilized needle.

Maybe I'm being mean but I do agree with those who say they hope it means stupid gaijin. I do hope it is something that will give me a good laugh.

Who'd be that dumb ?
