Hi Raj,

welcome and thanks for your visit!

Which kind of tour operators or travel agents are you looking for? International agencies operating in Japan or Japanese agencies abroad? Which target audience are you addressing, Japanese or non-Japanese?

Please provide a few more details of what you seek and I'll be glad to help you out.

hi nahako

first of all, thanks for your immidiate reply. I am in the research team of a hotel called the President, which is part of the "Penguin Resorts". This company is based here in South Beach, Miami, Florida. As part of my internship here, I am doing a feasibility analysis for having Japanese tourists come in groups and stay in our hotel. The study is in its initial phase and I am trying to locate names, addresses etc. of travel agencies and tour operators in Japan, mainly Tokyo who might be interested in our proposal. I have names of a few travel agents, but i would deeply appreciate it if you could either direct me to a web-page where i might be able to get information or send me some information yourself.

Thank you for your time
Raj

Raj,

I just noticed that our link directory features no category dealing with travel agencies and tour operators in Japan. Another future task.

Below you will find a few web sites that may further help you:

About.com - Japan for Visitors:

=> http://gojapan.about.com/cs/travelagencies/

Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO)

=> http://www.jnto.go.jp/english/index.html

JALTour

=> http://www.jaltour.co.uk

Tokyu Travel America

=> http://www.tokyutravel.com

"An Overview of the Japanese Travel Agency" (WTO paper)

=> http://www.wto.org/english/tratop_e/...1_2x_japan.doc

I hope that some of these links will prove helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us again in case you need further assistance.

I agree with Nahoko on JALTour and JNTO. I have dealt with both over the years and find both to be very useful.
