It's unfortunately too short to know if it sounds like Due.... but I am sure it will be great!! I just love Sakito.....

I do hope that it's NOT like Due. I despised Due but liked Kikasa, and that's the only reason I'm buying the single-- I hope I like it. Sakito's voice grates on my nerves, but... perhaps the bassist can save the day? Maybe it will be completely awesome like rice is.

Yeah, he was never a really good singer, but I really like him anyway

But hopefully he's evolved some, since he's decidet to take singing futher.

Doing, the site is all in japanese, so I can't find those clips.
One thing I don't get is how to make a band with only a vocalist an a bassist....

Support members, of course. rice does it the same way. As does B'z. rice is officially only Yuki (vocals) and Hiro (drums), but they use violinists, guitarists and bassists to make their music. B'z is only Koshi (vocals) and Tak (guitar), but they've had their support keyboardist for 10+ years as well as various support bassists and drummers.

it's been announced that Sakito has recently had a loss in his family... and is quitting the band... thus Fugure is no more...

... it's believed Sakito won't be returning to the music busness....

And.. yes they are disbanding as Fran said.

As Sakito had decided to leave because he feels he cannot go on making music with his current situation... Kikasa has no intent to get a new vocalist or continue FIGURE by himself.
The official announcement is here and there was also an announcement on Jmusiceuropa about it (in the French part) and also here (In Japanese)

This is hard for me to accept.. but it's true. Sakito was hardly back for a year before bad luck happens again. And I don't think he will be coming back to music again, from what Kikasa has written in the diary...

I hope he gets through this..
