Storage-lockers at J-Subway stations?

Um...what is the size of the storage-lockers at Japanese subway stations? Does anybody know? ... What I'm looking for is the height, width, and depth. The reason for this question is that some people stop over in Japan for a day or two. So, they don't want to carry a suitcase, or back-pack full of non-essentials with them, while they tour the city. Normally, I would just go out and get the measurements myself with a tape-measure, but I'm not in Japan right now. ...Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance.

I've used coin-lockers in Tokyo myself, but of course I have never measured them...

That's the best info I could come up with:

Suitcase - A rolling suitcase that is no larger than

25" tall, 18" wide, and 9" deep

works well. You can place a day pack or small sports duffel on top while wheeling it, but you have to carry ALL of it up a staircase using your hands and arms if an escalator isn't available..
DO NOT BRING ANY LUGGAGE THAT IS LARGER THAN THE ABOVE!!

This size fits in the largest Japanese locker.
(Found only in the larger stations.)

Glad I could help.

Btw, according to the metric system the maximum size of Japanese coin-lockers is
~ 150 x 45 x 23 cm.
