I am learning Japanese, and, much like the way my school teachers Spanish, I do it through simple sentences and conversation. They illustrate both grammar and vocabulary.

I had about 60 or so sentences hand written and decided to type them and translate them. Also included are numbers, terms relating to body parts (face), minor verb conjugation and illustrations of kore/sore/are.

Hate to ramble but I kind of wanted to explain the link, I just hope you can find it helpful! If not...sorry for wasting your time

Your list of grammar and vocabulary is very helpful. But I add a few more lines. Because there is a few blank space and few miswritten spelling.

>Brown - ちやいろ
Brown - ちゃいろ : It's a small "ya".

>Orange - みかん
Orange - オレンジ or オレンジいろ : Orange is a MIKAN in Japanese. But color of orange is not MIKAN. This color is a loan word "Orenji" in Japanese. And loan word is written in Katakana. "Orenji" is "オレンジ".

>Q: あなた は けさなに を たべましたか？
What breakfast did you eat in this morning?

>A: わたし は けさにく を たべました。
I ate meat in the morning.

>Q: あなた は ~~~ がすき です か？
Do you like ~~~?

>A: いいえ、わたし は ~~~ がきらい です。
No, I don't like ~~~.

>A: はい、わたし は ~~~ がすき です。
Yes, I like ~~~.

>Q: どうしてきらい[すき] なの です か？
Why don't [do] you like?

>A: ~~~ から です。
Because ~~~.

>My car is fast - わたし の じどしゃ は はやい です。
My car is fast - わたし の じどうしゃ は はやい です : "Car" is a "じどうしゃ" but not "じどしゃ".

>I drank the water - わたし は みず を のみます。
I drank the water - わたし は みず を のみました。: "のみます" is the present. "のみました" is the past tense.

>I cut the apple with a knife - わたし は [naifu] で りんご を きります。
"Naifu" is written in Katakana "ナイフ". Because naifu is a loan word.

>I am a tall boy - わたし は せいが たかい しょうねん です。
This sentence is free from mistakes. But "せが たかい" is more natural.

>I go to the movie theater - わたし は えいが [theater] に いきます。
"Movie theater" is a "えいがかん". "-かん" means a palace. "Museum" is a "びじゅつかん". "Embassy" is a "たいしかん".

>Do you like baseball? - あなた は やきゅ が すき です か？
Do you like baseball? - あなた は やきゅう が すき です か？ : "Baseball" is a "やきゅう" but not "やきゅ".

>We are going to the coffee shop - わたしたち は きっさてん へ いきます。 OR わたしたち は [coffee shop] へ いきます。
"Coffee shop" is a "コーヒーショップ" in Japanese.

>We have two dogs - わたしたち は にひき の いぬ を もって います。
This sentence is free from mistakes. But "いぬ を かって います" is more natural. "かって" is "かう" originally and means "raise".

>Where do you have a party? - どこで paatii が ありますか？
"Party" is a "パーティー".

That pencil is a black

I am a Japanese and my Japanese is perfect. But my English is not good. Please correct my error if I make an error in this post.
