alright, so i'm looking for some resources for aid in reading Japanese. does anyone know of some websites where the reading is at a somewhat basic level and designed for aiding students to read japanese? basically, not so many kanji that the meaning is lost, but enough to really create a system of study to incorporate more kanji into one's vocabulary. thanks for any help that you can provide!

This is News site for Japanese kids.
 これは日本の子供たちへ向けた新聞サイトです。

I think legible, because FURIGANA is attached on KANJI in the article.
 記事の中の漢字にふりがなが付いているので、読みや すいと思います。

Please refer though it is not thought that it meets your demand.

My handle name was taken from word "ささめゆき".
 私のハンドルネームは「ささめゆき」という言葉からとりました。

If "ささめゆき" is written by the KANJI, it becomes "細雪".
 もし「ささめゆき」を漢字で書くなら、それは「細雪 」となります。

細雪(ささめゆき)sasame-yuki:

  fine snow(light snow).
   細かな雪のこと。

  Snow that falls sparsely.
   まばらに降る雪のこと。

読みやすい日本語についての質問をたくさん受け取るか ら、
古い投稿を見つけるのはとても役に立つと思います。

それで、このページの上にある検索ボタンに、英語で [hiragana, reading materials]などという単語を入力し、”Go” のボタンを押しってください。
