i dunno if anyone started a similar thread but i wonder if anyone has found their lifelong partner in Japan during visits, further studies or business trips like those drama stories?

I met my wife on the dance floor of a gay party my roommate took me too. It wasn't a business trip, but I was very new. This was March of '98. Our 2 year anniversary is, coincidentally enough, today.

Sorry for going off-topic, ryushin-san, but I just wanted to post this:

Omedetou-gozaimasu, GP-san! My best wishes for many more years of happiness for you and your wife!

(It's Japanese-Japanese marriage in our case, so I don't qualify posting here... but it's "shokuba-kekkon" in our case--25 years ago... )

Thanks! Wow... 25 years. That's quite a while. Omedetou to you, too!
