Missing some pages in Genki 1

I bought a copy of Genki 1 in a used book store. The problem is that all of the pages up to chapter 1 have been removed. Can anyone with a copy tell me if I'm missing anything useful? Do we use the Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji sections starting on pg 252 in conjunction with the earlier chapters? Or should I just stick this copy under the table leg and see if I can get a complete copy?
Thanks

Its just a recap of Japanese Writing Styles (except for KANJI) and a note about the book. If it starts on Page 10 - you simply have missed common phrases in Japanese. Thats it.

The Kanji sections in the back of the book, simply go over KANJI learned in the corresponding chapter, as well as presenting more reading/writing practice.

Its an exceptional book.
