T.M.Revolution

I've heard quite a bit about this group and wanna try their songs. Any recommendations on where to start? Something that's their general style or one of their hit songs.

Maybe it's my bad luck or something, but I often get off on the wrong leg for many artists by hearing one of their 'weird' or 'experimental' songs that discourage me for hearing more. I don't want to make such a stupid mistake again, so T.M.Revolution fans, help me out!

T.M.Revolution really isn't a band. Its one person. But yea they do alot of anime music. I'll upload some songs to try later for you. Heart of a Sword, Hot Limit, Invoke, Ignition those are all songs to try.

nope..T.M.Revolution is not one person...T.M.Revolution is a group of three person. the lyricist : Akio Inoue, the composer: Daisuke Asakura and of course the singer & performer: Takanori himself. hm..yeah..thought i'd straighten that out..

great songs that i really like are : Vestige, Zips, crosswise, and Web of Night(theme of spiderman)and gekkoh.i think web of night(the english version) actually sounds better than the japanese version itself..and we get to listen to takanori's english which is not that bad(um..at least it's better than some jrockers anyway).. heheh

and while you're at it, i recommend you get the Vestige PV too!! it's very BEAUTIFUL!! and a sad story and takanori looks really good in it.

Elanor : here's heart of sword, a must-hear song for anyone new to T.M.Revolution. in my opinion, the older version(the one below) is much much better than the new version he just did in Undercover. X.X the new version just sounds..a little weird for me, because i was so used to the old one.

i'm uploading vertical infinity and Undercover, but those two take a long time.and my computer crashed when it nearly finished uploading,so i have to upload it all over again X.X in the meantime.. Seventh Heaven for you

T.M. Revolution videos always make me laugh for some reason, like the "emotion" he puts into each word, I dunno, it makes me laugh ...hard. Lol!

Thanks for the songs!

Heart of Sword... would it by any change have anything to do with Kenshin?

Nope. The name just screamed Kenshin at me

I haven't seen Kenshin the anime so I wouldn't know. I only knew that Judy and Mary did a song for Kenshin (the opening I think).

Ohhh~! Sounds good! Suits Kenshin better than the Judy and Mary opening. JaM one just shocked me. Nothing against the band, but the singer's childishly cute voice and bloody fighting opening scenes don't go together

The English voice dub for Kenshin was HORRIBLE! Utterly horrible! If you're watching it with English dubs go watch the original Jap version with fansubs or something!

But yeah, the Kenshin story's lovely. When he finally talked about his past and Tomoe I cried.

I like Tomoe more than Kaoru...

What was changed in the re-done version of his songs? Is it like Gackt's 6th day songs?

really? i watched the original japanese with subs ^o^ but i prefer kenshin alone..heheh bad of me

the singing style didn't change that much,um.. its just some of the music, but it's not remix, just re-do it. because some of the singles were quite old when he released them, so particularly the beats are quite different in some songs. and the new version is just as good, if not better than some of the old singles, for me anyway heart of sword is just an exception.
