CLEP test..

I'm in college at the moment, but I plan on dropping out for next year and studying on my own and re-entering another college that offers Japanese as a major by taking credit exams. The only relevant exams I could find were the CLEP, and they don't seem to have a Japanese exam offered. Is there any way I can get college credit by taking exams?

I've been looking around on Google and in bookstores/libraries for a while, but I haven't found any solid answers yet.

I also plan on taking the JLPT 4 (possibly 3) in December, but I doubt that works towards credit.

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it!

I would rather have information from professionals in the guidance office at the college at which I am enrolled than from random strangers on the internet.

Neither CLEP nor DANTES appear to have tests for Japanese. Quite a few colleges seem to accept the Cambridge AICE, however. More info on the AICE Japanese exam here:

Though, I agree with what Mr. Cash said. Talk to your university. There are people there that deal with this kind of thing every day.
