language schools in tokyo

Hi,

I would like to study Japanese in Tokyo in an intensive course either with a private school or accredited college/university.

Any recommendations for affordable and high-quality schools?

Advantages/disadvantages between private/university schools?

Thanks!

it depends what you mean by affordable... my friend who's currently in Osaka tells me that the cheapest japanese courses he's found so far were priced at around 500 us$/month
