jooyoo kanji
Hey!
I'm going to Japan in a month and I want to start learning some kanji while I'm there. I know about 75 kanji right now just random ones I picked up without really studying them. anyways, while I was searching the net I heard about this jooyoo kanji list of 1,945 kanji that are most used in newspapers and stuff. So I found a list but no english translation of the kanji. So I was wondering if anyone had a list or a program I could use for free where I could learn this list of kanji. Thanks |

http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/japanese.html
Here is a page that should get you started with a list of both online translation sites, kanji study sites, and kanji/dictionary drill softwares. Personally, I like these sites: For inserting furigana (or kana used to help in pronunciation of kanji) on top of web site text: http://sp.cis.iwate-u.ac.jp/sp/lesso.../furigana.html Kanji reading tutor: http://language.tiu.ac.jp/tools_e.html And the good old WWWJDIC: http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html
