They are nice drawings; you have your own distinctive style!

You're going on well. I've always prefered b/w pictures. Just let me give you a little advice. When you get your draw finished, pass it over to a blank sheet and draw it back in one stroke with a darker pencil a No. 2 well sharp will do, then finish it using pencils with different hardness and start playing with shadows and light. You practice and see the results for yourself!

Ganbatte, Anchyy, and practice all the time, even on napkins!

Those are great! My want to mess with the proportions on the second though. Oh, small warning, I used to be really good at the anime styles, but then I took an art class for school credit and the teacher I had totally messed me up and now I hate everything I make.

Then start all over again!! I don't want to sound acusing, but I think it was a bit your fault it happened. Always learn from what everybody tells you, but don't ever follow their ways. A drawer should always know how to manage more than one style before they find their own, so, if you kinda hate what you do now, why not to try what you used to do before? But now, you know more things that will help you improve your OWN style, don't you think? Don't get upset on yourself!
