Question Osaka University

hello guys!

I'm kinda stuck with a problem of mine and hope that u all could help me solve it.well i'm from malaysia as a starter, got a degree in mechanical engineering (UTM) and seriously considering a master degree program in Japan hopefully osaka university. i know that for master program i will have to search for a prof in order to gain admission. but what i'm confuse is the requirement. i mean do i have to enroll a pre-u course and take EJU before gaining admission into osaka univ? if that's so then i'm considering a pre-u course in IBT malaysia (go local) but is it necessary for a master student like me? anyone got into osaka univ or any master student with experience on applying for a master program in japan? help needed fast plz thnx guys!

I hope its not too late.. but for master degree you won't need to take EJU nor a pre-U course. Learning Japanese is also optional depending on the university. If the classes is in English you won't be needing it (e.g Waseda but you would be needing it for your daily life tho). I can't help you out but I have plenty of people in my language school over here (under JPA) going for Master degree that can probably answer some of your questions. So PM me if you have any.

Anyway I'm from Malaysia too, UTM gradute (Mechatronics) but not going for masters tho.

My advise to you is that you can have a contact with professors you are interested in, they will probably even let you stay in lab if you are lucky. they will take care of your enrollment if they like you.
