Seems that not only the men are going on sex tours to Thailand, but Japanese females as well! Equality? Not enough foreigners in Japan? Are they really sex starved? You be the judge.

Interesting find and share, indeed !! As for the part about equality, I say, 'more power to 'em !' Of course the need to be safe about it is very, very important !! If society in general were a little more open and educated to the natural elements of human sexuality and the natural fairness of the act--even within the bounds of a working socially bonded group (as all social clusters have been all along, and still are in aggregate) it might not be such a hush-hush thing, and one might not have to travel so far just to enjoy the natural act.
There have been several papers, studies and at least a couple of books on the matter of the natural sexualtiy of the human being, and everyone should who hasn't should learn and study more, I think. One fairly well written book for the non-specialist is Why Is Sex Fun?, by Jared Diamond; Science Masters series, Phoenix (1997) Thanks for the interesting share Pachipro !! |

Ahhh...............
If only I could convince them to come to Maine instead! I'd sit at the airport and watch them come and go all day.

1.I think Japanese himo are more expensive.Or maybe the Japanese women want to be the leaders just for once, and the man to do what he is said to (on other threads I noticed that this-to do anythig she is said to- is one feature of the Japanese female considered attractive ).2.Not enough men in Japan, probably 3. See the above...

Poor hubby finances his wife's shopping sprees, theatre-going, cake & coffee with friends, lunches, izakaya parties, and other stuff......while he works till late evening. Life isn't fair.
But to be fair, I think a lot of Japanese men do make it to the red-light district every once in a while. I've had a few students advise me that getting a professional girl is safer and better than getting involved with an actual love-affair, and they hinted that they had done the same. A couple I was quite surprised to hear this from, but then I've also read that a lot of Japanese wives expect the hubby to stray at some point.

This is something that has always confused me. The prolific nature of pornography and the (reported) acceptance of it in society, as well as the great varieties of genres and fetishes (many of which are unheard of or illegal in the US) would imply that they are sexually open and free. Nevertheles, it seems like nobody in Japan is having enough sex. I get the impression from friends who have been there and emmigrees that sex is read about and obsessed over, but rarely engaged in compared to American society (where it is considered "bad" but everyone is doing it anyway). It seems like a psychologist's dreamland over there (or at least, Freud's).

Japan sure is a strange land.
Still, half of what makes it niteresting is its people.

I'd like to know who came up with that myth. My Japanese wife tells ME what to do. And no, I don't only mean in bed.

I agree with one poster above, what's good for the goose is good for the gander, equality!! Good on her if it keeps her happy. We only live once and all that... That said, i don't like those dingy asian countries where you have to watch what you eat, and i'm only interested in my hubby so...not much chance of me going off there. But i guess Japanese women have the time and freedom, and all that yen. Interesting! |
