【愛国心?】日本語でちょっと堅い話【歴史を歪曲?】

こちらのスレで、

There have been a number of occasions that they have come home and told me stories about how their teachers glossed over topics such as Pearl Harbor and made the US out to be the instigator of the events that lead up to WWII. There are a number of other examples I could share as well.

glossing overの意味が、最近の日本関連のニュースで使われているような
「日本は学校教育で歴史を歪曲している」と言ったよう な意味で使われてるような気がします。
Obeika氏のお子さんが、沖縄の学校でどのような教育を 受けられているのは分かりませんが、氏のおっしゃるよ うな胡散臭い教師、もしくは教育が行われているのか興 味があります。
左寄り（日の丸、君が代反対）と言った意味での胡散臭 い教師というのなら、私も実際見てきました。

母語ではない言葉で、堅い話をするのは大変だと思いま すが、たまには良いのではないかと思います。
