What is your evaluation of the book, "The Chrysanthemum and the Sword"
hi people
what is your evaluation of R.Benedict's book, "The Chrysanthemum and the Sword"? Do you think this book describes Japan and Japanese culture objectively? and generally? the debate class I'm in is going to discuss on Japanese culture and I'm planning to read this book in advance to attending the debate.  So...would you prefer this book to all other Japanese-related books if you're in my situation?
